He is a very anti-social, egotismish, diffident boy. His all acquaintances and lift away is the servants son named Hassan. Both boys were raised in the same home. Hassan was raised as the servants accept and emeer the son of the wealthy man. Hassan being the servants son was raised to serve Amir even persuasion they are a couple of years apart, Hassan is younger. Amir is the rolesetters illustration of boy that doesnt hurt heros at school besides his servant is his friend. Amir reads stories to Hassan since he is his only friend. Hassan cant read or write, his only education was to serve as a servant. Amir fools around with him a lot; he crawfishs advantage of his loyal servant/friend because of his ignorance. Amir and Hassan go through difficult moments because of a bully named Assef from Amirs school. Amir being older than Hassan is a wimp that is ever so being scared of Assef. Hassan being the loyal servant/friend of Amir is willing to do anything in order to take hold Amir. Baba always has considered his son as a type of pip-squeak that is like a loser/loner. Amirs post changes drastically when Assef rapes Hassan.

Amirs change with Hassan and others or because the guilty conscience he carries for not defending Hassan when he could of prevented that rape. That is when Amir the shy boy changes into cold-hearted boy. He begins to have evoke towards the servants for no particular reason. All of a sudden Amirs self esteem goes a little as w! ell as mettlesome. So high that he tries to convince his father of run the servants and exactting new servants. All in order to no continuing have contact with Hassan? He turns so cold hearted that he sets up a plan for the servants to situate in difficulty and get fired.
